Local author James Hannon launches new children's book at Athlone Library

James Hannon was at Athlone Library on Saturday 22nd March to launch his new book 'An Incredibly Daring Heist Brought To You By A Ten-Year-Old Criminal Mastermind'. The second book in the Ballinacrack Chronicles series is again illustrated by the talented Fiona Moran who was also at the library to celebrate the launch.

There was great fun to be had during the event! James read from his new book, took time to answer any questions children had and even had a surprise gorilla turn up, much to the delight of the audience. Children also had the chance to learn how to draw some of the amazing characters from the book with Fiona Moran.

We wish James the best of luck with his new book. Copies of the both the titles in the Ballinacrack Chronicles are now available to borrow from Westmeath Libraries.
