How to join the library online

Joining the library is a great idea. It is free, and offers you so much. You can join the library in person by talking to a member of staff in any of our libraries, but you can also join online. Simply go to westmeath.spydus.ie and click on the Join the Library link. This video will take you through the steps of how to join the library online.

1. Click on Join Online
2. Agree to our terms and conditions
3. Fill out your personal details
4. Congratulations, you are now a member of Westmeath Libraries - remember to note your Temporary ID
5. When you visit your local library talk to a member of staff to collect your physical card.

Your temporary ID will work for one month, so remember to finalise your membership by talking to a member of staff, either in person, telephone, or via email. Your membership will then remain valid for one year, after which time you can renew online, or ask a member of staff to renew your card for another year.
