Westmeath Libraries is delighted to be part of the national Summer Stars Reading Adventure. There are lots of ways for young readers to take part.
1. Register for Summer Stars. Drop into your local library and register for Summer Stars. Membership is free and once registered for Summer Stars, you will receive your Reading Booklet to help keep a log of all the books you have read.
2. Borrow from your local library. Pop in and stock up on some brilliant summer reads.
3. Summer Stars BorrowBox: Browse, borrow, read and listen to the Summer Stars collection of children’s e-books and e-audio books through the library BorrowBox app. This is free for all members to use from anywhere, anytime. Non-members can join online for free at https://www.librariesireland.ie/join-your-library.
4. Read and win Every time you read and return your books to the library you can enter our draw to win a book voucher.
5. Storytimes and events: Follow Westmeath Libraries on facebook to find out all about our upcoming events, including author visits from Oisin McGann, art and crafts activities, storytimes and more.
