Spring Into Storytime 2025 at Westmeath Libraries

Every April libraries throughout Ireland celebrate Spring Into Storytime. Part of our national Right To Read initiative, Spring Into Storytime encourages a love of reading and books, and is aimed at children throughout the country. A celebration of families, and of coming together around a good story, this is the perfect opportunity to share your favourite books.

We are looking for creative young minds to design a Book Monster for us. All through the month of April we will have entry forms available in the libraries. Pick one up, think up the best Book Monster you can and enter the competition.

Six entries will be picked to be printed, and these will be made available to all those who take part in our Summer Stars reading, so get creative and you just might see your monster show up all around Westmeath. (More details here)
