Medium: Expired 35mm film (Kodak Colour Plus Expired 2006)
Date: December 2020
''This photo was taken on my Dad's old Pentax K1000. He bought it when he was 21, his photos while travelling, my parents wedding and most of the childhood photos of me and my siblings were taken on this camera. It was left unused and in an attic for the best part of 20 years after my parents bought a digital. Dad gave it to me during the lockdown. The film expired in 2006 and was found in a local Athlone charity shop. Results from expired film are unpredictable and once-off. I like to photograph local religious sites and artifacts as they are steeped in history and charged with emotional energy''
