Do you feel that the routes you take for regular exercise are currently \u201cOn Repeat\u201d?\u00a0 Well here is your opportunity to shake that up!\u00a0 With the \u201cFresh Eyes\u201d project<\/a>, you are being asked to observe, notice, admire; then capture what you loved in a photo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Whereas we get many days in February that aren\u2019t sunny, we get lots that are filled with lovely Spring light. And these are days for walks and photographs! Capture detail, contrasts and pops of colour; or go riverside for crystal-clear reflections. Just see what catches your eye! <\/p>\n\n\n\n I took the following pictures on the West side of Athlone. And while much is changing along the west bank of the Shannon \u2013 with a new boat club underway, and a major transformation at the No.1 Battery \u2013 the town\u2019s history is still being told by the barges, the fishing boats, and the handsome Railway Building from the 1850\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
