NEW GROUND - [Pilot Programme]
Under the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media - Local Live Performance Programme Scheme 4, Westmeath Arts Office are seeking expressions of interest from organisers and/or performers who have an idea for new, innovative ‘live’ events that showcase performance arts. We are specifically encouraging ideas for Spoken Word events, and Contemporary Dance (open to different event formats, pop-up, festival style)
Under the Local Live Performance Programme Scheme 4 assistance can be provided in the form of funding (performers, organisers), venue support and mentoring.
If you have an idea that you would like to explore that, with our support, can be run on a ‘pilot basis’ by the end of October, please send us an Expression of Interest email with – your contact details, one short paragraph describing your idea, and those involved, and we will be in touch.
