Happy Halloween

Westmeath Libraries would like to wish everyone a very happy, and slightly spooky, Hallowe'en. To celebrate the season we will be holding a number of spook-tacular events in libraries around the county.

25th October at 3.30pm Castlepollard Library is inviting you along to a special Hallowe'en movie afternoon, don't forget to dress up! And while you are enjoying the tales why not take part in their Hallowe'en competition.

As well as hosting a "Guess how many spiders in the jar" competition during Hallowe'en week, on the 27th October Moate Library are welcoming a local school along for a very special Arts & Crafts session.

Also on the 27th October Mullingar Library want you to come along for a Story time and Fancy Dress event at 3.30pm. Or why not join them on Friday28th at 1.30pm for the ghostly tales that lurk behind the buildings and landmarks of Mullingar, as revealed by Ruth Illingworth.

Kilbeggan Library are inviting a local school to a special story time, and a witches hat scavenger hunt on 28th

And don't forget about our online events, for Hallowe'en our Ten Minute Tale on facebook will feature a special spooky story.

Remember, all Westmeath Libraries will be closed Sat & Mon of the bank holiday weekend, we'll see you back in the library from 9.40am on Tuesday 1st November.
