Paula reviews Shadows in Death

Shadows in Death by JD Robb.

As a cop stands over a dead body, her husband spots a face in the crowd, an unwelcome blast from the past.

As the investigation progresses, it becomes evident that this not the last of the bodies and that the murderer poses a serious threat to Lt. Eve Dallas and her loved ones.

For fans of the In Death series, this is a welcome addition, offering further insights into Roarke’s troubled past. It  builds on the themes of family and friendship which have emerged throughout the series while still providing lots of action and tension.

For those who haven’t tried this futuristic police procedural, don’t start here- it’s book 51- take a moment and hunt down Naked in Death, the book where it all began.
