Use a library computer or Wi-Fi

Members of Westmeath Libraries can use computers for free to type letters and documents, access the internet and to practice their computer skills. Printing charges apply

Internet access

Internet access is available at all Westmeath Libraries free of charge. Please ask at your local library for details. Please note, sessions may not be available in the 30 minutes before closing. For our Internet and WiFi policy please see the following document : Internet and WiFi Policy (pdf)

Parents/Guardians must give permission in the library for those aged under 18 years of age.

Safer Internet Day is part of a global drive to promote a safer internet for all users, especially young people for more information please see their website.

Wireless internet access (Wi-Fi)

WiFi is available to members in Athlone, Castlepollard, Moate, Kilbeggan, and  Mullingar libraries. You can log in to the wireless network with your library barcode and PIN. If you do not have a PIN please ask at the library desk.
