Crane Bird Studio Art School to Launch “The Realm of Connection” Exhibition

Crane Bird Art School is proud to host an exhibition filled with artists of all ages, on display at the
Westmeath County Council building Atrium space from 15th May to 26th May.

The works on display will range from original artworks to traditional painting styles, along with innovative
pieces representing mythological Ireland. The exhibit is designed to celebrate creativity in the community.
The wide range of styles on display re-affirms the Art Studio’s core value; that art is for
everyone to create and enjoy.

Children who take classes at Crane Bird Art School have created works to represent a famous Irish
tale, while teachers and local artists from All Life Arts - Artists Community Group will be making a
godly arrival on opening day.

The opening night will bring many surprises and all are invited to this wonderful opportunity to hear the
stories behind the paintings and the exhibition theme directly from this collection of creatives. Poetry will
accompany the opening with live readings on the night.

Artists will include Aida Cassiano, the talented and creative owner of Crane Bird Art School who will
show off her creative eye and talent in unique works; Lulie Poilin who is a writer with a passion for
painting; Kenneth McDermott who creates art in all forms from metal sculptures to amazing paintings;
Adrian Masterson who has a long history in all creative fields; artist Janet Rowley with her signature style that
explores the theme of the human connection and Susan Brennan, a painter who uses texture and pallet knives to
create works. Susan is also a poet who will be doing a reading along with Lulie on the opening night.

“As an artist I want to create connections. I want to create a bridge that can link artists and community
together to create moments of joy and creative experiences,” said Aida Cassiano.

Crane Bird Art School was founded at the beginning of 2017 to proudly inspire and nurture artists of all
ages and abilities providing creative and quality learning experiences to awaken the passion and promote
engagement in the arts. All Life Arts - Artists Community Group is a group of artists who had come
together to support one other and to increase public awareness of art in the Mullingar and surrounding
areas through various media and public participation.
