Local author James Hannon will be visiting Westmeath Libraries for a fun filled morning where James will do a reading from his new book as well as sharing insights into his work and characters.

Poetry as Commemoration
During two 2-hour workshops, one week apart, participants will engage with and respond historical documents related to the War of Independence & the Civil War. Afterwards they will be invited to submit their writing to a special Poetry as Commemoration archive which will be housed in UCD Special Collections.
