Teen Advisory Board

Westmeath Libraries are interested in setting up a Teen Advisory Board. This is a group of teenagers from around the county who would meet on a regular basis to help make the library more relevant to teenagers.

Members will help plan and set up events, work on skills and creativity, participate in projects, and make recommendations on what books the library should stock.

Anyone (aged 13-18) who is interested in joining is invited to fill out an application form. We will hold group meetings once a month, in different library locations, to share ideas and suggestions on how to make the library a better place for teens.

Westmeath Libraries wants to hear from teenagers. We want to know what you would love to see in your local library, the books you want to read, the events you want to hold. The library belongs to you, so we want to include your views and options.

If you are interested in the future of Westmeath Libraries then join our advisory group and make sure your voice is heard. Make your Library Majestic!
