Celebrate the eighteenth year of Culture Night with Westmeath Libraries on 22nd September 2023
Drop in to Castlepollard Library on Friday, 22nd September to see our exhibition on wrought iron gates from the local area. Exhibition runs from 9:40 am to 5:00 pm.
All welcome. This exhibition will run until Friday, 29th September.
Mullingar Library are delighted to invite you along to our first ever Open Mic Evening. Hosted by the wonderful Lorraine Murphy.
If you would like to take part, whether that is sing a song, recite your poetry, share a story then contact us to book your 5 minute slot. Please note performances must be family friendly.
All welcome to attend and cheer on our Open Mic performers, no need to book.

The Aidan Heavey Library Athlone is delighted to be able to play host to musician Eoghan Burke as part of Westmeath Libraries programme of events for Culture Night 2023.
Eoghan will be launching a new song he has written on Westmeath during the Civil War which was commissioned by Westmeath Decade of Centenaries programme for Westmeath County Council. He will follow this by performing a selection of music. All welcome.

Join us in Moate Library to celebrate Culture Night 2023 on Friday 22nd September from 5pm-6pm.
This year we have the wonderful pianist Karen Crowley. Karen's programme will feature well known, easy listening Irish Airs to International Classical pieces such as Bach, Faure, Morricone, Grieg and many more.
Promises to be a great evening of entertainment. No need to book.
The Aidan Heavey Library Athlone welcome Athlone A Cappella back to the library to perform for Culture Night 2023.
Athlone a Cappella are an all female chorus based in Athlone who sing four part close harmony a cappella. Formed in 2012 they have gone on to win many awards and have performed both nationally and internationally. All welcome.
